HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY FOLKS and HAPPY BIRTHDAY KLAW (Kara Lawson...#LV4L #GOVOLS #Tennessee)!!!...The sun is shining so bright on us down here in the DFW. It's expected to get up to 75. I'm loving these spring like days in the winter. I plan on going to my moms house and hanging out with her and Trina. Dez and I made them our Valentines this year. Who needs a Valentine when you have your family. Lol. After Mom's house, I'd like to go eat outside somewhere, and then go watch 50 Shades of Grey with my sis. After the movie it's home to curl up and my couch, watch tv, rub my belly and feel my baby boy "KICK N STRETCH" in there. It's been about 5 weeks since my last post and so much as happened. I actually recorded a Vlog, but it turned out to be 30 minutes long. I mean I know yall love me, but I figured that was just too long to expect anyone to sit and listen to me ramble. Sooooo, Im going to stick to the format I've been doing. BUT, when Destin comes I'm going to do Vlogs to update everyone on this amazing journey. That way yall can actually see my lil superstar in action. Lets get right into it...
HOW FAR ALONG ARE YOU? 9 months/36 weeks, 28 days left. I always thought 9 months was it until I got pregnant and found out you are really preggo for 10 months. YIKES! Sidenote: I've also gotten a good refresher course on 4 Times Table. Lol!! These ultrasound pics are from 34 weeks 3 days. He never wants to show his face, but she got him to move by putting this vibraton thingy up to my belly. Let me tell ya, he did not like that. The pic with his mouth open was UNHAPPY. He flung is arm away from his face so fast. Yay! Bc we got to see his lil mouth. I was laughing and almost crying at the same time. First time I've seen his mouth. He's making me such a cornball. He was measuring in at 6lbs, 7oz then. So we shall see how big his next week when I go for another ultrasound. Some people tell me the measurements were right on and others are saying don't believe it. So we shall see.

Total weight gain/loss? I made a mistake on my last post. I said I had only gained 19 lbs. I believe it was more aroung the 25lbs mark at 31 weeks. Antywho...I've gained 29 lbs total so far. Not bad. My last 2 visits I have only gained 2 lbs. It's looking like I'm going to stay in the target weight range for my height, 25-35lb gain. Not bad at all.
Bump showing? Yup!
Maternity Clothes? Like Eddie Love said, "Spandex! All Spandex!" and cotton lol!!
Stretch Marks? Looking good so far. Staying oiled and lotioned up.
Happy or moody most of the time? Pharrell says it best!!
Looking forward to? The birth of my baby boy. Feeling him move inside of me is awesome, but I'm ready to kiss them cheeks and cuddle with him everyday and night. I can't wait for it to be just the two of us!!!

Dreams? I had a dream I delivered Destin myself at the hospital. He came out 1 years old, umbilical cord connected, 6 teeth, a missing knee cap, but he could walk. WTH!!!! Freaky!
Best moment this week? Since, it has been so long I had alot of great moments. My high school jersey did get retired. It was a special night. Super grateful.

There you will also see the info for the photographer Lisa Michelle. We went to high school together and I can't say enough about how proud I am of her. She is so talented. The constant in my glam squad is my BFF, Toya. Feeling under the weather and all she turned it out. She just happens to be Destin's GodMother too (what a lucky lil boy I have). She whipped my hair something fierce and she had one of her MUA colleagues and friend, Farren Congress, come beat my face. All I can say is Thank You to all 3 of you. Being pregnant is a beautiful thing, but I hadn't felt beautiful in long time until that day. I can't believe that's me when I look at the pics. I did pause for a selfie in Toys backyard before we left for the shoot. lol
My baby shower was awesome. I was so happy to see so many of my friends and family. It was exactly like I wanted it to be. Beer, BBQ and Babies!! My hosts Trina and Toya did a great job with the help of so many others. Boyyyy did my baby get hooked up. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you to everyone that showed up (about 100 folks) and everyone that sent him things. We won't have to buy much for awhile. The only thing I'm missing is the chair and ottoman and that should be purchased next week. The only thing I would of done differently is I would of asked my older sister, Shanda, to bake all the treats. I got mad at her and was being stubborn. #TRUTH People was walking in literally asking "SOOOO DID YOUR SIS MAKE THE CUPCAKES!?!" (hahah Aunt Dixie and Felicia!!) Shanda, no matter what I'll never make that mistake again. SweetOne18 goes too hard to let my hormones ever get in the way again. LOL! I am so proud of you. That's what your business has grown too. That's the type of product you have developed. Once you have SweetOne18 Confections every other place just seems mediocre. Follow Sweet_One18 on IG.

Styles By ME is growing so fast and I'm so grateful that you took a few days to come chill with ya girl. Getting to share the same space with you made my whole shower weekend PERFECTION!!!! Baby movement? My ribs and bladder are taking a beating!! He moves so much now that I don't count kicks. I just watch my stomach morph into different shapes and try to figure out what body part I'm seeing.
Workout this week? Walking down the stairs to take my trash to the dumpster is my workout. I'm so out of breath by the time I get back.
Hormonal moment of the week? My mama and I had a special moment. It's private, but I love her so much and I'm really happy to be sharing this moment in life with her right by side. Never was too much of a mama's girl, but I can see me slowly transitioning into a mama's girl. Dreams do come true.
Food cravings? Bub, my bestie and Destin's GodFather, came over and made his baked chicken and shrimp alfredo!!! I had been craving it. It was so delicious. Everything that man cooks is fantastic. He made the potato salad and spaghetti salad for my baby shower too. MARVELOUS. Between his food and my older sister, Shanda, cupcake and treats...MAN O MAN!!! I've been craving Shanda's strawberry cupcakes, but I'm waiting to place an order bc I know she's swamped around the holidays. BUT, come monday I need a half dozen strawberry cupcakes and a half dozen Italian cream cheese cupcakes witht he pecan on top. I havent had that flavor yet AND I WANT IT IN MY BELLY!!

Purchased any baby things yet? Like I said before we got everything pretty much at the baby shower. I bought a rug and some wall art from Etsy. Last night, Auntie Trina brought over one of my top 3 items off my registry that I really really reaaaally wanted!!! THE MAMAROO!!! THANK YOU SISSY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Other body changes? I should change this question to the TMI section. LOL! You know it's coming every post. Sooooo...I was sitting and wondering one day if I had anything in my boobs yet. Well the impulse to know just took over. Grabbed my boob, squeezed it, pinched my nipple and I BE DANG ON! SOMETHING IS IN IT!!! LOL. I won't be doing that anymore bc it just felt wrong and weird. Now I know. lol!!!
Everybody knows by now that having kids has been a lifelong dream of mine. I've always loved kids and love love love pregnant women. They are just beautiful to me. I said if I ever got pregnant I would take a pic like Demi Moore had on the front cover of Vanity Fair. I'll never forget how beautiful she was. I feel in love with her that day. Kelly Rowland then gets preggo and she's always been the member of Destiny's Child that I thought if we ever met we would be BFFs lol. So when I saw her maternity pics I was drooling over her all nude photo. I vowed that day that I was going to do it when I got pregnant. Which leads us to now. I did it and I'm going to let the world see!!! Lisa Girl!! You did that!!!! I'm not even going to lie. I'm nervous as hell to put this pic out, but screw it. This is me during the most organic experience of my life. Just me and Destin in my BIRTHDAY SUIT!
